Fairway offers two established horse trainers with international experience and a renowned veterinary practice on site to ensure peace of mind.

Samantha Buirs

Rider/Trainer

Samantha Buirs is an ambitious and hard working professional with goals of expanding the horse industry in the lower mainland. She has risen through the ranks from the pony division, equitation ring, junior division and then to representing the Canadian Equestrian Team in 2010.

Having spent some time working in Europe as well as on the US east coast, she is now at home in Langley, British Columbia working to develop talented young horses and riders.

Judy Wise

Trainer

Judy and Dr. Ray Wise have been operating their business ‘Fairway Farms’ in Langley, BC since 1984. Judy’s longstanding career has taken her from eventing as a young adult to hunter and jumper rings alike with many successes including representing the Canadian Equestrian Team in 1980. Judy's wealth of knowledge is an asset to many styles of horses and riders.

 

Having left her show ring career now she is now focused on training young riders to reach their competitive goals as well as breeding and developing great young horses for sport. She sees students having success in all three rings and continues to be an advocate of dedication and hard work bringing her students to success.
